Piemonte’s has solid pizza that isn’t too expensive, but La Broa simply had tastier slices that were much bigger. We were all in agreement and La Broa is on to the Final Four 3-0.

4) Antonio’s VS. 5) Nice Slice

These two are right across the street from each other and are two of the most popular pizza places in the city. For my whole life people have been debating which was better, Nice Slice or Antonio’s. Growing up I always chose Nice Slice, but today I couldn’t. Antonio’s simply has by far the most variety, and is the place to be on a weekend night. The pizza at both is great, but Antonio’s moves on 2-1.

2) Bob and Timmy’s VS. 10) Caserta’s

Back to back match ups that are on the same street (I swear we didn’t rig this.) You could certainly argue that these are actually the two best pizza places in Providence. Bob and Timmy’s thin, wood grilled pizza is one of a kind and Caserta’s pizza sauce is some of the best you’ll ever taste. Another tough matchup, but Bob and Timmy’s wins 2-1.

19) Big Tony’s VS. 11) Pizza Gourmet

Big Tonys- 525 Eaton St

Big Tony’s is definitely more well known, and delivery till 4 in the morning can’t be beat, but you can only get by on that for so long. If you are going to Big Tony’s it is probably for the wraps or calzones. The pizza is good, but is hardly the main attraction. Being just outside of the Thayer St area, I originally doubted Pizza Gourmet would make it, but they’ve survived for years now and that speaks to how good the pizza is. Pizza Gourmet is the winner 2-1.

Final Four results are coming soon!
